You know, they praise the GOG version of Fallout NV. New Vegas is installed on the WD Blue 3D SSD. It is worth noting that my system specs are up to date. Any insight that could be provided would be greatly appreciated. I recall running some compatibility troubleshooter and I got a UAC pop-up after launching the game through Steam so I might've just hastily assumed I did so correctly. I believe compatibility mode was what allowed me to finally get Fallout 3 running, and I was troubleshooting New Vegas at around 1:30 AM with a couple IPAs in me so it's likely I didn't enable it properly. I'm thinking that I just didn't enable compatibility mode properly. Enabled compatibility mode for Fallout NV launcher

All Windows updates are installed (I believe I'm on Windbut will have to double check when I get home in a few hours). Initial (unsuccessful) troubleshooting steps I took last night: I don't recall having this issue before, but I do remember having to jump through a fair amount of hoops to get Fallout 3 to work.
FALLOUT NEW VEGAS GOG VS STEAM CODE
Unfortunately, my PC BSODs with the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL stop code either while loading to the main menu, or within a minute after loading my saved game.

I decided I'd reinstall it yesterday and pick up where I left off. So as I mentioned in the "What are you playing?" thread the other day, I have a backlog of games I started but never finished, New Vegas being one of them.
